Mysuru, Jan 31: Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) working president R Dhruvanarayan on Sunday January 31 claimed that BJP state president was secretly 'instigating' his followers to bring down the BJP government in the state, and also called him an 'ignorant' person who was 'unfit' for his post.
"BJP state president Nalin Kumar Kateel speaks like an ignorant person. Beign the state presient of a national political party, he gives statements which are not serious," said R Dhruvanarayan addressing a press meet here.
"Nalin Kumar has his own group of followers within the state BJP. Statements like change of chief minister in the state and statements given by MLA Yatnal come from that group itself. Why is there no action against Yatnal even after repeated statements against the chief minister? They are conspiring to bring down the government.
"In BJP itself there are people who speak like the opposition party. Nalin is instigating all of them. But he speaks like an ignorant person about senior leaders of Congress like Kharge and Siddaramaiah. We should not give importance to his statements which are given due to his inexperience and lack of political knowledge.
"Karnataka has never seen such a bad government. There is no coordination between ministers in the cabinet. Portfolios of ministers are changed every now and then. Any minister should show progress in the portfolio that is allotted to him. But most of the BJP ministers demand certain portfolios. chief minister Yediyurappa has completely failed in giving good governance. Earlier also BJP has lost an opportunity to give good governance in Karnataka. Now also it is continuing the same.
Training guns on the JD(S), he said, "JD (S) is also playing opportunistic politics. Congress has helped JD (S) in every aspect. Not an ounce of injustice was meted out on JD (S) by the Congress party. Let them says openly in which matter Congress has done injustice to them. Congress has helped to send Deve Gowda to Rajya Sabha. If Kumaraswamy had the faith of MLAs, he would have completed five years as chief minister. Both JD (S) and BJP have lost golden opportunity of giving good governance in the state.
"I have not given a thought of entering state politics after I was nominated as KPCC working president. At present, it is a matter that is irrelevant. I do not have any greed. Congress has given me life. I did not expect anything from the Congress party. The party did not desert me even when I lost election. I have not stopped working just because I have lost elections. I am always with the public. I will utilize the opportunit that is given to me by the party and tour all over Karnataka and strengthen the party," he said.
