CM Yediyurappa launches pension at doorsteps campaign, Navodaya App

Bengaluru, Jan 27: Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa launched the state-wide campaign for distributing pension at doorsteps and also the Navodaya App software developed in accordance with the National Education Policy guidelines.

Revenue Minister R Ashok, Bengaluru Urban Zilla Panchayat President Mariswamy, Chief Minister’s Political Secretary Jeevaraj, MLA Ramesh Gowda and Revenue Department Additional Principal Secretary Mahendra Jain and others were present at the function held in Bengaluru on Wednesday.

Earlier, the Chief Minister held a review meeting with regard to the grant of scholarships and stipends to students studying under the Social Welfare and Backward Classes schemes.

Backward Classes Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary, State Chief Secretary P Ravikumar, Development Commissioner Vandita Sharma, Finance Department Additional Principal Secretary I S N Prasad, Social Welfare Department Principal Secretary Nagambika Devi and other senior officials attended the meeting.
