Mangaluru/Udupi, Jan 25: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 31 fresh coronavirus cases on Monday raising the tally to 33,634. Out of these, 277 cases are currently active.

A total of 5,13,735 samples have been tested. Out of which 4,80,101 are negative.

As many as 34 people were discharged on Monday, taking the total number of recoveries to 32618.

A total of 739 deaths have occurred so far.

Over 27,431 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 28,68,835 in fines have been collected by the authorities.

Udupi

The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 23,275, including three fresh cases on Monday. Out of these, 40 cases are currently active.

Over 3,29,707 samples have been tested so far, of which 3,06,432 have turned out negative.

As many as seven patients were discharged on Monday. The total number of recoveries has climbed to 23,046.

A total of 189 deaths have occurred so far.
