Bengaluru, Jan 21: Voices of dissent are being heard within the corridors of the BJP where a section of the party functionaries are heard claiming that B Y Vijayendra had redistributed portfolios to ministers overnight. These rumours seem to lend credence to the charge that since the day Yediyurappa assumed office as the state's chief minister (CM), his son, B Y Vijayendra, has been poking his nose in all the affairs of the government.
When union home minister Amit Shah visited the state a few days back, some core committee members had complained to him about the interference of the CM's family in running the government. It is said that the senior leaders who contacted the CM thereafter, had asked him to keep his son and family members away from these things. But now it is being heard that portfolios have been decided as per the
decision taken by Vijayendra.

As soon as the information that the list of portfolios of ministers was dispatched to the Governor, many ministers who lost important portfolios tried to contact Vijayendra but Vijayendra, who switched off his mobile, is at an unknown destination, sources stated. These ministers want to keep important departments with themselves before the list is signed by the governor.
As per information, portfolios have been redistributed among 17 ministers. Instead of just distributing portfolios to the newly inducted seven ministers, departments held by some ministers have been withdrawn and allotted to some others, it is said.
