Mangaluru: Objectionable items in 'Hundi' - Police chief visits Koragajja, Guligajja Katte in Ullal

Mangaluru, Jan 20: Police commissioner N Shashi Kumar on Wednesday January 20 visited Koragajja, Guligajja Katte in Ullal, after some miscreants dropped objectionable materials into the offering box.

Speaking to media, the police commissioner said, "Such incidents are hurting the sentiments of the devotees. The police department will not spare those who have committed such offence. It is a matter of time, today or tomorrow, they will be caught. Such acts should not be repeated.

“We will also trace those people behind this act. I request all religious authorities to install CCTV cameras at all the religious centres. We should not allow the communal harmony in the society to be disrupted due to the act done by a few miscreants,” he said.

    The police commissioner Shri N. Kumar, was gracious to visit the temple. Hope n pray that those louts, who deliberately desecrated n hurt the sentiments of devotees, will be identified and ruthlessly given exemplary punishment.....
