Mangaluru: Theatres, multiplexes witness houseful crowd first time after lockdown

Mangaluru, Jan 14: Though the cinema theatres and multiplexes, which had closed down due to the coronavirus pandemic for a long time, opened a couple of months ago, people were scared to go to the theatres to watch movie due to the fear of getting infected with coronavirus. However, on Wednesday January 13 almost all the cinema theatres and multiplexes in the city reported houseful for the Tamil movie 'Master' starring Vijay.

Suchithra theatre has five shows in a day including the first show which starts at 6.30 am. All the shows reported houseful. Four shows in Cinepolis, three shows in Big Cinemas and four shows in PVR multiplexes also were houseful.

This is the first movie which has reported houseful audience after reopening of the theatres, which were closed since March 2020 for lockdown due to coronavirus pandemic.
