Mangaluru: Social worker Ravi Katpadi selected to play ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’

Mangaluru, Jan 11: Social worker Ravi Katpadi has been chosen as a special contestant who will be taking part in the students' special episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) with host Amitabh Bachchan.

The show will be aired on January 15 at 9 pm on Sony TV.

The 35-year-old, a daily wager from Udupi who works in construction, made headlines for his philanthropic activities. Since 2013, Ravi has donated over Rs 52.5 lac for treating children who are battling diseases. He has helped provide financial support to children suffering from heart problems, cancer, eye disorders and those suffering from skin diseases.



Every year on 'Krishna Janamashtami' he dons interesting costumes based on the theme of aliens and monsters to entertain people so that he can collect funds to help ailing children.
