Mangaluru/Udupi, Dec 25: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 30 fresh coronavirus cases on Friday raising the tally to 32,723. Out of these, 405 cases are currently active.

A total of 4,47,284 samples have been tested. Out of which, 4,14,561 are negative.

As many as 33 people were discharged on Friday, taking the total number of recoveries to 31,586.

A total of 732 deaths have occured so far.

Over 18,153 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 19,36,468 in fines have been collected by the authorities.

Udupi

The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 23,003, including 13 fresh cases on Friday. Out of these, 73 cases are currently active.

Over 2,78,222 samples have been tested so far, of which 2,55,219 have turned out negative.

As many as 14 patients were discharged on Friday. The total number of recoveries has climbed to 22,742.

A total of 188 deaths have occured so far.
