Therefore, with the intention to create awareness, Prasanna Joel Sequeira along with two others, Yatish Kulal and Manish Shetty have created Christmas star themed awareness on Covid-19.
Prasanna and team are into the creation of stars for seven years and since it is their eighth year, they have decided to create awareness about the use of sanitizers, masks and maintaining social distance.
All three joined together and have worked for eight days straight to create a 13X12 feet mega-sized Christmas star weighing 20 kg. This star has now been installed at a tree on the premises of Mount Carmel Church in Shirthady and has become the cynosure of all eyes.
For this star, the trio has used white cloth with a length of 160 feet that symbolizes peace, 20 kg thin bamboo, 400 masks, five sanitiser bottles and replica of coronavirus. They took upon this task with the specific purpose of spreading awareness.
"Though the coronavirus is haunting the people globally, people are not cautious about social distancing, use of masks and sanitizers. Hence, to create awareness in this matter, this year we have chosen to go ahead with this theme," said Prasanna Joel Sequeria.
