Muhurat ceremony of Roopesh Shetty directorial ‘Jai’ Tulu movie held

Mangaluru, Oct 26: The muhurat ceremony for the Tulu film ‘Jai’, directed by and starring Roopesh Shetty, was held at the Sharavu Sri Mahaganapathi Temple.

Sharavu Raghavendra Shastri gave the auspicious clap, wishing the project success. Notable attendees included former mayor Divakar Pandeshwar, Taranatha Shetty Bolar, Manjunatha Attavar, Bala Jagannatha Shetty, and Naveen Shetty Aryans.

Following the success of Girgit, Gamchaal, and Circus, Roopesh Shetty is producing this big-budget film under the Jai Cineman RS Cinemas banner, in collaboration with Shoelin Films and Mugrodi Production. Story and dialogues are crafted by Prasanna Shetty Bailoor.

The technical team includes Vinut K as the cinematographer, Loy Valentine Saldanha as the music director, and Rahul Vasista as the editor. Producers include Anil Shetty, Sudhakar Shetty Mugrodi, and Manjunatha Attavar, with Deekshit Alva as co-producer and Naveen Shetty Aryans as the dance choreographer and executive producer.

The cast of Jai Tulu features Devadas Kapikad, Naveen D Padil, Aravind Bolar, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Prasanna Shetty Bailoor, Sandeep Shetty Manibettu, and Umesh Mizar. According to director Roopesh Shetty, the movie will be filmed in a single phase.
