Mangaluru/Udupi, Dec 2: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 35 fresh coronavirus cases on Wednesday raising the tally to 31,994. Out of these, 576 cases are currently active.

A total of 3,70,718 samples have been tested. Out of which, 3,38,724 are negative.

As many as 41 people were discharged on Wednesday, taking the total number of recoveries to 30,705.

A total of 713 deaths have occured so far.

Over 15,071 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 16,18,022 in fines have been collected by the authorities.

Udupi

The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 22,719, including 13 fresh cases on Wednesday. Out of these, 191 cases are currently active.

Over 2,49,067 samples have been tested so far, of which 2,26,348 have turned out negative.

As many as 21 patients were discharged on Wednesday. The total number of recoveries has climbed to 22,341.

A total of 187 deaths have occured so far.
