Mangaluru/Udupi, Dec 1: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 36 fresh coronavirus cases on Tuesday raising the tally to 31,959. Out of these, 582 cases are currently active.

A total of 3,66,486 samples have been tested. Out of which, 3,34,527 are negative.

As many as 42 people were discharged on Tuesday, taking the total number of recoveries to 30,664.

A total of 713 deaths have occured so far.

Over 14,988 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 16,09,772 in fines have been collected by the authorities.

Udupi

The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 22,704, including 14 fresh cases on Tuesday. Out of these, 197 cases are currently active.

Over 2,47,256 samples have been tested so far, of which 2,24,552 have turned out negative.

As many as 22 patients were discharged on Tuesday. The total number of recoveries has climbed to 22,320.

A total of 187 deaths have occured so far.
