Mangaluru: Same gang suspected to be involved in both ‘inflammatory’ graffiti

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, Nov 30: The police suspect the controversial graffiti on the wall of the court complex and also the compound wall of an apartment complex by the side of a road leading to circuit house Kadri to be the handiwork of the same gang.

Similarity in handwriting of both the writings have been found. The way words are written and handwriting involved have strengthened this notion, police sources stated. The fact that black spray paint was used for both the writings has strengthened the police suspicion.

Three police teams had been formed to investigate the incident but another team from Bunder police station has been formed as the doubt about the same gang involved with both the incidents arose. All These teams will investigate the above two incidents.

In the CCTV footage at the court complex, the facial features of the miscreants recorded have been unclear. The footage from the Kadri incident is comparatively better in quality. Police sources said that information about the number of people involved etc has not yet been confirmed.

Police patrolling in the city has been beefed up after the above incidents. Police stations have been asked to keep vigil, it is gathered.

In connection with the graffiti at Kadri, the police have questioned three persons. Police sources said that in all likelihood, the persons who created these writings would have escaped after getting the work done in a hurry. They said that they are trying to find out the organizations behind, and people who provided tacit support for this activity.

Investigation is proceeding simultaneously from different angles. The police led by city central sub-division assistant commissioner of police M Jagadeesh, Kadri police inspector, Pavitra Teja, and CCB inspector Mahesh Prasad, have been leading the investigating teams.

Why don't you do ( series - check ) on cctv from various locations ??? The suspects made it super clear that there's no presence of cctv on that area if yes in poor visibility, but not that smart when all CCTV leading to that area & exit is cross checked it's pay day bingo.

I think this is handiwork of people hired by some organisation to create fear among society and division between different communities. Police should arrest the culprits and punished accordingly. No sympathy should be shown and police should not work under pressure from any political party. I dont see any harsh statements from certain poeple who claim to be people friendly and work for betterment of people. Is our great leader Shobha hiding somewhere. No statement came from her . Is she busy in some unwanted things.
