Mangaluru/Udupi, Nov 29: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 48 fresh coronavirus cases on Sunday raising the tally to 31,896. Out of these, 608 cases are currently active.

A total of 3,60,887 samples have been tested. Out of which, 3,28,991 are negative.

As many as 38 people were discharged on Sunday, taking the total number of recoveries to 30,576.

A total of 712 deaths have occured so far, including one on Sunday.

Over 14,778 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 15,87,522 in fines have been collected by the authorities.

Udupi

The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 22,675, including 39 fresh cases on Sunday. Out of these, 219 cases are currently active.

Over 2,43,473 samples have been tested so far, of which 2,20,798 have turned out negative.

As many as 23 patients were discharged on Sunday. The total number of recoveries has climbed to 22,269.

A total of 187 deaths have occured so far.
