Chikkaballapur, Nov 29: State BJP president Nalin Kumar Kateel on Sunday November 29 hit back at the Congress on the issue related to the suicide attempt of chief minister's political secretary N R Santhosh, and said that KPCC president D K Shivakumar was trying to gain political mileage by levelling baseless allegations.
Speaking to scribes before partaking in BJP's 'Gram Swarajya' convention in the district, Nalin said, "The statement given by KPCC president with regard to the suicide attempt by Santhosh is not right. He is trying to mislead people for political gain."
Responding to a statement by Congress leader Siddaramaiah, Nalin said, "Siddaramaiah said that Nalin Kumar Kateel does not have political maturity. He is a great thinker. I will not speak about such people."
Regarding the tussle in BJP over the impending cabinet expansion, he said, "BJP has kept its word with everyone who has helped us to form the government. We are providing justice to everyone."
Clarifying on the statement by M T B Nagaraj that his destiny was not good, Nalin said, "The statement given by MTB is not due to his feelings but for the fact that the party has completed one year in power. Everyone who has helped BJP to form the government will get justice."
