Shivakumar further pointed fingers at BJP leaders of the state and said, "A secret video is the reason for the suicide attempt by Santhosh. He was being blackmailed using that video. Information is available that the CD in question has been sent to New Delhi and has reached the hands of top brasses of the party."
Refuting Shivakumar's allegations, minister K S Eshwarappa said, "The statement given by D K Shivakumar is idiotic. He should be ashamed to give such a statement. Let him release the copy of the video if he has one."
