Udupi, Nov 28: Like-minded and Congress activists are planning to hold silent protest in front of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) state president D K Shivakumar here during his visit to the district on Sunday November 29, condemning the neglect of activists. This has exposed two groups in the local level in the party.
The protests are reportedly going to be held condemning the welcome to new comers ignoring the value of services of veteran and sincere activists working in the party.
It is said that important positions are given to those who become members. The attitude of those in primary positions has caused the dissatisfaction.
One of the senior Congress leaders said that the party leaders should unite and organize the party. “The state president should listen to our grievances and provide suitable solutions. Hence the silent protests,” he said.
