Mangaluru/Udupi, Nov 27: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 66 fresh coronavirus cases on Friday raising the tally to 31,721. Out of these, 583 cases are currently active.

A total of 354,166 samples have been tested. Out of which, 322,379 are negative.

As many as 31 people were discharged on Friday, taking the total number of recoveries to 30,494.

A total of 710 deaths have occured so far, including one on Friday.

Over 14,479 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 15,58,802 in fines have been collected by the authorities.

Udupi

The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 22,608, including 29 fresh cases on Friday. Out of these, 196 cases are currently active.

Over 239,172 samples have been tested so far, of which 216,564 have turned out negative.

As many as 24 patients were discharged on Friday. The total number of recoveries has climbed to 22,225.

A total of 187 deaths have occured so far.
