Margao, Nov 26: A day after the envoy of Karnataka chief minister, B S Yediyurappa met Goa CM Pramod Sawant, the Goa Forward Party expressed apprehensions that this might be a sellout plan under the garb of an ‘amicable solution.’

Shankar Gouda Patil, an envoy of the Karnataka CM, had met Sawant on Wednesday in Panaji over the crucial Mhadei issue.

GFP president Vijai Sardesai, reacting to the meeting, tweeted “What was discussed? Goa needs to know. Especially when Goa’s Contempt Petition is mysteriously not coming up in SC. Is there a plan for a more sellout of the bigger than mother - #Mhadei under the garb of ‘amicable solution?. @DrPramodPSawant must clarify.”
