Mangalore, Nov 21: The muhurat for the upcoming Tulu web series 'Pachanady Police Station' was held at Vamanjoor here on Saturday, November 21.

Producer of 'Ajane' and 'Hi Vaat Sorgachi Nhoi', Jeevan D'Souza Angelore clapped the inaugural shot for the series. Walter Nandalike, founder, Daijiworld Media Group, rolled the camera.

Alexis Castelino, managing director, Daijiworld TV, Ron London, Coastalwood producer and actor, Ashith Pinto, director, production, Daijiworld TV, actor Aravind Bolar, director Dinesh Attavar of Kann Katt serial and others were present.

Speaking on the occasion Jeevan D'Souza said, “After Ajane, this is my second Tulu serial exclusively planned to telecast on web media. I am happy that Coastalwood popular actor Aravind Bolar is acting in this serial along with Konkani’s known comedian Mellu Valencia. Along with experienced, few new faces will also be seen acting in this serial. I hope 'Pachanady Police Station' will entertain the audience as per their expectation. I congratulate the entire crew and wish them all success.”

Stany Bela is the playwright and director of the serial.

Along with Aravind Bolar, Konkani’s own ‘Babuti’ fame Mellu Valencia, budding actors Sachin Nayak, Bolar, Jayashree Puttur, Chaitra, Kalladka, are playing major roles in the serial.

Kiran Kepu, Durgaprasad Kakkyapadav, and Dayanand Kukkaje are working behind the camera. Noel D’Souza Puttur is the editor of the serial, while Srikanth Srinivas handles the dubbing part of the serial. Ashith Glen Pinto working in background score. Praveen Tauro is the marketing in-charge. The post-production work has handled by Daijiworld Audio Visual Pvt Ltd.
