Bengaluru: Containers transformed into excellent intensive care units

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Nov 19: The containers used at construction sites have been transformed into well-equipped intensive care units. One such container has been changed into an intensive care unit behind K C General Hospital Malleshwaram here. Each of the containers has six beds, all equipment needed for such units including oxygen supply. This is a new effort and it has been implemented in this city for the first time.

The state government is prepared to see that there is no dearth of intensive care units in case of coronavirus backlash. The number of coronavirus infected persons has been coming down in the state now. However, the government cannot be complacent as the second wave of the pandemic can hit without notice.

These containers provide modern amenities at a very low cost. Fifty such beds have now been readied and they can be shifted elsewhere if there is a need. In the coming days, the state government plans to set up more such container ICUs.

Additional ICU beds have been provided at KC General Hospital, Victoria Hospital, C V Raman Hospital and Isolation Hospital.

hello Mam, assume a statue building project is initiated by government, then they will give contract to a company for some 3-4 yrs then the people working in that company doesn't need to bother about work for next 3-4 yrs. right?
and people will put shops and food stalls near the place which directly benefits them.
we cannot measure the profit only by means of ticket collection, but there are plenty of other factors which goes under limelight. they will be plenty of taxi drivers, restaurant people getting employed/benefitted by a tourist destination.

    hope you got my point.
