Nov 14: Dakshina Kannada records 40 fresh corona cases, one death; Udupi adds 27

Mangaluru/Udupi, Nov 14: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 40 fresh coronavirus cases on Saturday raising the tally to 31,225. Out of these, 820 cases are currently active.
 
A total of 2,98,352 samples have been tested. Out of which, 2,67,127 are negative.
 
As many as 92 people were discharged on Saturday, A total of 691 deaths have occured so far.


Over 12,770 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 13,86,057 in fines have been collected by the authorities.
 
Udupi
 
The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 22,336, including 27 fresh cases on Saturday. Out of these, 282 cases are currently active.
 
Over 2,10,079 samples have been tested so far, of which 1,87,743 have turned out negative.
 
As many as 45 patients were discharged on Saturday. A total of 187 deaths have occured so far.
