Bengaluru, Nov 2: State BJP president Nalin Kumar Kateel has been in the habit of denouncing state Congress leaders frequently. The state Congress has expressed its indignation at Kateel. Through a series of tweets posted in its official Twitter account, the Congress has branded Kateel as a comedy actor.

The party was responding to Nalin Kumar Kateel's statement wherein he likened Siddaramaiah's position in the Congress to that of a 'dog'.

"BJP state president, comedy actor Nalin Kateel is testimony to the Kannada adage that translates to 'precious stone in the hands of a monkey'. His utterances lack everything including dignity, honour, commitment. Leader of all classes of society, economic expert, leader who met his promises by announcing 168 schemes and implementing them," Karnataka Congress tweeted.

"Nalin Kateel, who was unable to complete Pumpwell overbridge on time, does not have the right to speak about Siddaramaiah. All our workers have high regard for Siddaramaiah.

"Nalin Kateel, you are repeatedly deriding Basanagouda but have not served even a single notice to him. PM Modi did not allot even a little time to meet the state chief minister.
This goes to show the situation B S Yediyurappa is in the BJP. He built the party. Look after him well, the Congress stated in another tweet.

"Nalin Kateel with his behaviour has been repeatedly proving himself as an immature, uncivilized, ordinary politician with loose tongue. Nalin Kumar Kateel can single handedly harm the reputation of the BJP. Let him speak like this and expose the real colours of the BJP," the Congress tweeted.
