Panaji, Oct 11: A person has been arrested by Cyber Crime Cell (CCC) of Goa police on a complaint by two women. As per the complaint, the culprit had morphed and uploaded obscene photographs of two women on social media platform.
The person had created fake profiles in victims name on social media using morphed and obscene photos.
The Cyber Crime Cell (CCC) of Goa police immediately took action and arrested the culprit. First information report (FIR) under Section 67 of the IT Act, has been registered. Further investigation is underway.
Accused Lysander Monteirro, a resident of Taleigao, was zeroed on and arrested by a team led by PSI Devendra Pingle. In the last month alone 4 such cases have been cracked.
