Mangaluru, Oct 4: A case of alleged cattle trafficking came to light here on Sunday October 4 morning after six calves fell off a vehicle.

It is learnt that they were being illegally transported to the slaughterhouse at Kudroli.

Sources said that the cows and calves were being taken to slaughterhouse at Kudroli in an improper manner. Six of the calves were thrown onto the road.

The activists of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal (BD) who came to know about this incident resorted to a flash protest at Mannagudda.

VHP and BD activists urged action against illegal cow transportation.

    When an illegal incidence happens in our area, we should come forward and protest.

    Because, RSS, VHP, BD and BJP mostly belong to Upper caste and they hold the view that these poor people are born as dalits owing to their karma, They are untouchables, but good material for rape for upper class.

    It's very sad to read... Why you people slaughter the calves also? No blood in your eyes?? Have you dropped the calves purposely so that there should be communal issues? Please don't try to stir up the emotions of some community people as well as other people too, who are against this slaughtering as well as transporting in inhumane way... Who are those idiots who even sell the calves to these butchers? Try to live in harmony it's healthy for our society and for everyone... 🙏🙏

    For eating in India.. Cow is mummy mummy.... But while exporting its becomes Yummy Yummy...

    I agree there should be a total ban on exporting/slaugtering in India... Take good care of the cows/bulls/calves until their last breath... Because many of the people are veggies and many of our communities worship them....at home, at holy places... Don't touch these cows and bulls in any form and put total full stop for slaughtering...

    Dear Bhawya, ruined will be those who sell the animals and ruined will be those who kill hundreds of cows/buffallows in Gujrat meat export factories owned by bjp leaders. We in kerala consume beef without any ristriction and communal difference. In Gulf we consume beef very very freely. I am sure you are only shedding crorodile tear.

    - What happens to the male calves and where do they end up?
    - If the cow is revered as Gau Mata, what is the bull referred to as ?
    - is there a difference between Cowdung & Bull Shit ?
