Udupi, Apr 9: A woman, who was frustrated with her painful life because of perennial problems, committed suicide, along with her two small children. The woman in question, Susheela (27), a resident of Moodugudde in Muddumane in Shirur, hung her two children with a rope before hanging herself at her home on Thursday April 8.
Bodies of her children, Shashank (2) and Sushant (1) were also found hanging from nooses tied to the beams of the roof. In a complaint registered with the policemen, it is alleged that the woman was frustrated at the physical and mental tortures meted out by her husband, who works in a stone quarry. The locals claim that Susheela’s husband was always suspicious about her character and was not allowing her to visit her parents’ home, besides harassing her every day.
