With Kishore’s arrest, many more activities which are being discreetly carried out in the coastal industry are likely to surface. Unconfirmed sources stated that after certain revelations made by Kishore, the police have begun to closely monitor the organizers of some beauty pageants, DJ parties and dance shows. It is also learnt that some secret birthdays and success parties of a few local celebrities are under scanner.
Since 2018, there has been a surge in the number of DJ parties, late-night parties happening in farmhouses and resorts which are close to the city. Now, this trend has caught on and is being followed by even students. Earlier there were rumours that the night parties of students were controlled by drug mafia and flesh trade racket has been quite active in the city. With even the students partaking in the night parties the drug mafia has been reportedly making a huge profit along with expanding their business.
Police believe that revelations made by Kishore will take them deeper into the shady dealings which are allegedly taking place in the city's entertainment industry. The police also stated that there few gyms and training centres which teach dance that is under the radar, majorly the ones which have been regularly in contact with Kishore and his allies.
Kishore and his accomplice Aqeel Nausheel were arrested by the CCB on Saturday, September 19 for procuring the drugs and selling them in Mangaluru. They were getting the drugs from Mumbai and other places and were involved in selling them in the city, police said.
