UAE Exchange wins the Dubai Quality Award
Abu Dhabi, April 7 (Media Release): UAE Exchange, the leading global remittance and exchange house based in the UAE with global operations spanning 22 countries, today bagged the prestigious Dubai Quality Award in the finance category for 2009.
At a glittering function held at the Grand Hyatt Ball Room, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President & Prime Minister of UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, bestowed the coveted Dubai Quality Award on the Managing Director & CEO of UAE Exchange, Dr. B R Shetty, and Executive Director, Marwan Al Mazrouei. The ceremony was conducted under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to recognize organizations being conferred with the Dubai Quality Award, Dubai Human Development Award and Dubai Service Excellence Scheme for the 2009 cycle.
DQA uses the EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) Model to assess the participating entities and the winners are the ones who have successfully implemented the parameters as recommended by the Model. The entire DQA process has been designed to recognize organizations that demonstrate high performance and continuous improvement to support a dynamic economy and unify their management practices in a holistic manner.
