Chikmagalur, Apr 5: Head of Sri Ram Sene, Pramod Mutalik, said that protests will be organized in front of the offices of the district deputy commissioners and the taluk offices all across the state on April 9 by the activists of Sri Ram Sene, against the anti-Hindu policies of the state BJP government. Memorandums will also be presented to the respective officials after holding the protest, he disclosed. He was speaking to reporters after attending the meeting of the office bearers of the Sene from 15 districts.
He alleged that the government has been purposefully booking the members of his organization. “There has been a well-organized conspiracy to suppress the Sene. The Sene activists are facing 1,718 cases in the state. An activist of Sri Ram Sene from Shahabad was arrested at Surpur and then paraded in the town semi-nude.The BHP, which rose to power riding on the Hindu wave, now follows anti-Hindu policies,” he opined. He pointed out that the BJP workers, who had torched seven buses in Hubli and 18 more in Anekal, just because their leaders did not get ministerial berths, have not been tried. The BJP government has been putting to use laws at whims and fancies, he rued.
He revealed that on May 5, a memorandum containing 20 lac signatures, urging the President of India to withdraw the controversial judgment recently delivered by the Supreme Court on pre-marital relationship will be submitted. He criticized Sania Mirza for choosing a Pakistani husband, feeling that her behaviour has brought disgrace to India. Demanding for the cancellation of her citizenship and urging the concerned to strike her name off the registers of All India Tennis Federation after her marriage, he warned that his organization will not allow her to play in the country. Claiming his organization to be free of money, casteism, and nepotism, he termed some allegations that the activists of his organization are involved with anti social activities, as false.
