Mangaluru, Sep 4: The Railway Board has accorded permission to the south western railway division to operate three special trains in the coastal section of Karnataka. This includes the Karwar-Yeshwantpur-Karwar train.
Train No. 06585 between Yeshwantpur and Karwar will begin its journey from Yeshwantpur at 6.45 pm on Friday September 4. The train No. 6586 will start its journey from Karwar at 6 pm on September 5. The time table fixed for the train No. 6595/96 will be applicable for this special train.

The four-day a week train between Bengaluru city and Mangaluru (06515) will start operations from September 4 while the train No. 06516 will be pressed into service from September 6 onward. Train No. 06517 which runs between Bengaluru and Mangaluru thrice a week will being its journey from September 6 while the train No 06518 between Mangaluru and Bengaluru will run from September 5.
These test special trains will be in operation till further notice. Advance booking is necessary to travel by these trains.
