Mangaluru: Man admitted into hospital runs away without paying bill

Mangaluru, Aug 31: A complaint has been filed on behalf of a hospital, against a person who escaped from the hospital after getting treatment. Ullal police have registered the complaint.

The person who fled belongs to Chitradurga district. About a month back, he was admitted into a private hospital at Deralakatte for treatment. He had recovered from his ailments but was taken aback at the huge bill presented by the hospital. As he realized that the bill payment was beyond his means, he planned to flee, the hospital authorities said in the complaint. He went missing on Sunday August 30.
