Very good idea by the tourism department to have a surfing school soon at Sasihthulu . I have been there man many times with my family during my vacation from New York. But only problem the roads should be widened for traffic as well as for the tourists.

Surfing is getting popularity around the globe. It's good that even in Mangalore there is an initiative to open Surfing schools. We need to take some knowledge and experience from the experienced countries the basic requirement and safety measures to be implemented before we starting such schools. The problem in India what i have seen is we have the potential and caliber to start anything but basic infrastructure is very poor and no followup and maintenance of the facilities. We need to take some kind of training from third world countries to remain competent with other countries.

Sasihithlu beach, is certainly one among the most scenic, beautiful, isolated, coastal place in South India..... My all time favourite, a sangam of rivers, merging with the Arabian sea !!!
