Former VHP leader Pradeep Beladi joins Congress

Udupi, Aug 28: Former Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader of Karkala Pradeep Beladi joined Indian National Congress after quitting from VHP. Beladi joined the party in the presence of Indian Youth Congress secretary Vidya Balakrishnan and others in an executive committee meeting held at Congress Bhavan Udupi. 
 
Before becoming a part of INC, Pradeep Beladi was an active member of VHP.
 
 
State youth Congress vice president Kemparaja Gowda, DK Youth Congress president Mithun Rai, Udupi district Congress president Ashok Kumar Kodavoor, Udupi district Youth Congress president Vishwas Amin and others welcomed the new member to the party by handing him the party flag.
