Kalaburagi, Aug 27: MP and state BJP president Nalin Kumar Kateel ridiculed that Congress is fast turning into a home for elderly people.
Speaking to the scribes in the city, Nalin said, "Congress is not able to nominate a president for their party. It has become a facility for the aged people."
"We will bring to light the scams that have taken place during the regime of Siddaramaiah as the chief minister (CM) of the state. When Congress is not in power, it creates chaos. Congress leaders have the habit of creating chaos and enjoying sadistic pleasure. DJ Halli riots are the result of internal issues of the Congress party,” he said.
Responding to the statement on Tipu Sultan by BJP MLA Vishwanath, Nalin said, "It is Vishwanath's personal opinion. BJP has always raised its voice against Tipu Sultan. BJP has a clear cut stance with regards to the issue of Tipu. I will seek an explanation from Vishwanath about his statement on Tipu Sultan."
Giving his opinion on the accusation of Congress that B Y Vijayendra, son of CM B S Yediyurappa, as the 'super CM' Nalin said, "Congress does not have a leader like Yediyurappa. He is a capable leader and is known to rule in an efficient manner."
