Mangaluru: Heavy rains expected in coastal districts till August 27

Mangaluru, Aug 24: The meteorological department has predicted heavy rains to pound the three coastal districts of Karnataka till August 27. Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, and Uttara Kannada districts have been issued with yellow alerts signifying heavy rainfall. 

North and south interior parts of Karnataka will get normal rainfall. Almost all the districts in the state will get normal rainfall while Bengaluru city will have cloudy weather during the above period, the department stated.
