Brahmavar, Aug 19: The entire concept of school education has been transformed now because of coronavirus. The students are expected to enrich their knowledge through electronic medium and television as per government orders. Brahmavar government PU college teachers are now engaged in finding out whether the students are getting such education and whether they have been responding well to the teaching methods.
This college has 900 students spread over the eighth standard to PUC. The classes are divided into several divisions, and 26 permanent teachers are involved with teaching. This college has even students coming from as far as 25 km distance. The students are spread over areas including Barkur, Kokkarne, Avarse, Santhekatte, Kundapur, Sastan etc. In many cases, teachers take part in the programme in different areas at the rate of one teacher each.
The school wants to assess whether the teachers getting education through social media are properly grasping what is taught. At present, classes are conducted at 68 spots including houses of students where a number of students can come together. These classes, difficult lessons are properly taught to the students. The students can hope to have a bright future only if they get the correct education primary and high school level. This initiative, therefore, will come in handy for the students.
Vice-principal of the government high school Brahmavar, BT Naik, says that this is a step taken by the school to help students get education properly on time, as coronavirus has been causing problems in their getting education on a regular basis.
