MLA Raghupati Bhat, speaking to Daijiworld, said that as per his information not a single rupee has changed hands relating to corona-related issues. He said that if someone comes forward with a complaint of having paid the bribe, the officials concerned would be acted against as per law immediately. "As far as I know, no such thing has happened here. People can come to me personally even if they have paid a single rupee for this work, and I will see that action is taken. I have spoken to Sreesha Nayak, who said that someone had told him about the bribe demand. I had requested him to bring the person concerned to me but he has not brought anyone to so far. If a written complaint is made, we can also legally move against the officials. If the complainants want to keep their identity a secret, I will see to it that this request is met," he assured.
