Bantwal, Mar 20: The city branch of Mangalore Catholic Co-Operative (MCC) Bank Limited which was located at Somayaji House here was shifted to spacious premises at the Pereira Complex, near Srinivas Hotel here on Friday March 19.
Local MLA and former transport minister B Ramanath Rai inaugurated the new premises.
Fr Rocky D’Sa, parish priest, Infant Jesus parish, Mondankap, blessed the new premises.
MCC Bank chairman Melvin D’Cunha presided over the programme.
NRI industrialist Melvin Dias inaugurated the strong room.
Building owner Lucas Pereira was the chief guest on the occasion.
Bank directors Raymond D’Cunha, Francis Coutinho and Valerian Rodrigues, advisor Richard Monteiro, manager Jacintha Serrao, as well as Bank director and corporator Jacintha Boromiyo, were present.
Branch manager Lancy Lobo proposed the vote of thanks.
