Udupi, Mar 17: A gang of four naxals forced their entry into the home of BJP leader, Tingale Vikramarjun Hegde, in Tingale village near here on Tuesday March 16 afternoon. They returned after cooking and consuming food there, it is learnt.
The gang, which included a female member, came at about 12.30 pm, and went back at 3.30 pm. During the visit of the gang, only a worker, Satish Shetty, was present at the house. Although over ten people on an average are found in the house, others were away, celebrating Ugadi. The naxals enquired Shetty about the wages he receives from Hegde and then told him that they will not spare his master.
Satish Shetty informed Hegde about the developments at about 3.30 pm.
