Kundapur: Surabhi S Shetty secures 624 marks in SSLC exams, bags state second rank

Kundapur, Aug 10: Surabhi S Shetty, student of Sandeepan High school, Nagoor, Byndoor educational zone has bagged the second rank in the state, by scoring 624 marks in SSLC examinations.

She is the daughter of Uppunda residents Suresh Shetty and Seema Shetty. Surabhi said that she expected 625 marks and stated that she studied for over six to eight hours per day.



"Teachers at the school and parents at home have encouraged me well. I felt all the papers were easy. I was expecting 625 marks but I received one mark less in social science. I have requested for revaluation. I intend to pursue my pre-university education in science from Mangaluru and obtain a medical degree in the future," Surabhi said.

    Sheer determination, hard work and brains made her achieve her hearts goal.
    She was studying 6-8 hours daily which is the reflection of her determination to break the record.
    An ordinary student concentrates on studies mostly during revision period with an intention to get through the exams.
    God bless her in her future goals as the education continues on higher levels.
    Parents must proud of their daughter.

    Congratulations....its hard earned marks.... How come Udupi and mangalore back in ranks this time.... Politics in results asawell... Udupi and mangalore can never be so last.... atleast 2 or 3rd place is acceptable.... i know one of the evaluater.... as per him there is so much politics involved even in evaluation aswell.....
