Udupi, Aug 8: Kodavoor ward resident Gautham had recently died of lightning.

MLA Raghupathi Bhat handed over on Saturday to the family of the deceased a cheque of Rs five lac released by the government on his recommendation under the natural disaster fund.

Udupi tahsildar Pradeep Kurderkar, assistant DSP Jaishanker and Malpe police station sub-inspector Thimmesh were present.
