Mangaluru, Aug 7: With a view to extend timely medical treatment to the COVID-19 infected patients of Dakshina Kannada district, BASF India Limited Mangalore Works donated a ventilator to the district Wenlock Hospital here on August 7.
The same was symbolically handed over to Kota Srinivas Poojary, minister of Fisheries, Ports and Inland Transport, Muzarai, and Dakshina Kannada district-in-charge minister by Srinivas Pranesh, site director – Mangalore Works in the presence of Dr Rajendra K V, deputy commissioner, Dakshina Kannada and Nalin Kumar Kateel, member of parliament.
Dr Bharath Shetty Y, MLA, Mangalore north and Umanath Kotian, MLA Moodbidri-Mulki constituency, C M Nataraj, head HR- Mangalore Works were also present during the occasion.
