Karkala, Aug 6: Rotary Club Belman is known for its special public programmes. It has built public amenities like an auditorium, Balavana, well-organized parking, public crematorium and road dividers.

For the present year of 2020-21, the club has given drive for agricultural revolution in the form of 'Krushi Kranti' under the leadership of the current president Rtn Subhash Kumar. The land which was lying barren for more than 20 years is tilled during the lockdown time and revived and made ready for sowing.

The club has decided to utilize the profit that is made out of the crop grown on the barren land for public utility programmes. The locals have also joined hands with the club members.

President Rtn Subhash Kumar and secretary Rtn Raviraj Shetty are involved in the work of tilling and thereby becoming a model to other farmers of the area.
