While it is not just the fact that he has cleared the challenging exam with a considerable good rank but it is the name of the rank holder which has the Twitteratis in splits. A unique combination for a name, Rahul Modi was the qualified candidate in the result announced by the UPSC on Tuesday, August 4.
The fact that his name was a combination of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi became a catalyst for netizens to flood Twitter with memes and trending hashtag #RahulModi. One of the Twitter users has aptly called it the 'merger of the century'.

Meanwhile, IRS officer who Pradeep Singh (29) lead the list of 829 candidates who qualified for the IAS, IPS, IFS and other civil services.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted: "Congratulations to all the bright youngsters who have successfully cleared the Civil Services Examination, 2019! An exciting and satisfying career of public service awaits you. My best wishes!"
