Young law graduate Asrina from Mangaluru becomes civil judge

Mangaluru, Aug 5: Asrina from Dakshina Kannada district was administered oath as a civil judge by the Chief Justice of the state high court on Monday August 3.

Asrina is the daughter of Akbar Ali and Asmath couple from Haleangady. The couple is currently living in Krishnapura Chokkabettu. Asrina’s father Akbar Ali is an employee of MRPL in Mangaluru and her mother is a housewife.

After completing her primary and secondary education at Haleangady and Kinnigoli, Asrina completed her degree from SDM Law College here. She then began work as a junior under senior lawyers from the city, Mayoora Keerti and Sharat Kumar B.

In 2019, she appeared for the examination meant for being appointed as judges and cleared the same.
