Udupi: MLA Raghupati Bhat urges minister Byrati Basavaraj to expedite Varahi project work

Udupi, July 13: A review meeting concerning the developmental works under Udupi Urban Development Authority and Karnataka Water Supply and Drainage Board was presided over by the minister of urban development, Byrati Basavaraj at District Panchayat V S Acharya auditorium on Monday, July 13.

Udupi MLA Raghupati Bhat requested the minister to complete the Varahi Drinking Water Project soon. The minister referred to the proposal for amendment sent to the government to construct a residence in ten cents on agricultural land in Udupi authority limits and directed a suitable action in this regard.



Kaup MLA Lalaji R Mendon, coastal development authority president Mattaru Rathnakar Hegde, Udupi Urban Development Authority president Raghavendra Kini, Udupi district panchayat vice president Sheela K Shetty, deputy commissioner G Jagadeesha, district panchayat chief executive Preethi Gehlot, additional deputy commissioner Sadashiva Prabhu and district and taluk level officials were present.
