Chikkamagaluru, Jul 12: It was confirmed on Saturday, July 11 that C T Ravi, minister for tourism, Government of Karnataka, has contracted the coronavirus infection. This information was shared with the media by medical education minister Dr Sudhakar.
Tweeting on the matter, C T Ravi said, "I am fine. I do not have any symptoms of coronavirus. I am under home quarantine now and walking in my farmhouse."
Several people representatives of the state have tested positive for coronavirus. Staff working in the home office of chief minister Yediyurappa, driver of his escort vehicle and cook at his Dhavalagiri residence have also tested positive. Due to this, even the CM is under home quarantine now.
