Bantwal: Peruvayi bar theft – Vittal police arrest three

Bantwal, Jul 11: Vittal police station personnel in the leadership of SI Rajesh K V arrested three people relating to the theft in Peruvayi bar.

The arrested are Manil resident Vijayakumar Crasta (40), Ganesh Naika (34) and Peruvayi resident Suresh Naika (32). The trio had entered the bar breaking open the back door between July 7 night and July 8 morning and stolen liquor worth Rs 50,000 from it.

The accused were arrested after investigations on the basis of CCTV footage. The stolen goods were recovered from the suspects and they are produced in the court.

The operation was conducted in the leadership of SI Rajesh K V by staff Lokesh, Sridhar, Pratap, Vinayak, Anukumar and others under directions from DySP Valentine D’ Souza and police circle inspector T D Nagaraj upon guidance from DSP Dr Laxmi Prasad.
