Hebri: Postgraduate student jumps into well due to depression

Hebri, Jul 10: A young lady who was pursuing an MSc degree course ended her life by jumping into a well. The incident happened on Wednesday, July 8 at Bommarabettu village near Hiriadka.

The victim was Soumya (21), daughter of Ramesh Naik from Kujambail, Bommarabettu. It is said that since about last month, Soumya was going through depression. She was being treated for this problem but there was no improvement in her condition, sources said.

As per a report lodged in Hiriadka police station, the student ended her life on account of depression.
