Puttur, Jul 9: A 32-year-old woman from Koornadka, who had delivered ten days back, passed away on Wednesday, July 8 at Wenlock Hospital, Mangaluru. Her funeral was conducted by taking all precautions meant for coronavirus positive victims, at the burial ground at Bedrala attached to Koornadka Jumma Masjid.
The woman was affected by coronavirus infection a week back. Her ten-day-old baby also has tested positive for the infection. The baby is recovering at the hospital.
A 42-year-old relative of the said woman also was admitted into Wenlock Hospital with suspicion of coronavirus infection four days back. Her test report, which is positive, has been received.
